Product Description
Brief introduction of Electrostatic Precipitator Transformer
An electrostatic precipitator ionizes smoke by applying a high voltage, which charges the dust particles in the airflow. Subsequently, under the action of electric field forces, these charged particles separate from the airflow. Among them, the negative electrode is made of metal wires with different cross-sectional shapes, known as the discharge electrode.
The positive pole is made of metal plates with different geometric shapes called dust-collecting electrodes. The performance of electrostatic precipitators is influenced by three factors: dust properties, equipment structure, and flue gas velocity. The specific resistance of dust is an index to evaluate the conductivity, which has a direct impact on the dust removal efficiency. The specific resistance is too low, and it is difficult for the dust particles to remain on the dust-collecting electrode, causing it to return to the airflow. If the specific resistance is too high, the charge of dust particles reaching the dust-collecting electrode is not easy to discharge, and the formation of a voltage gradient between dust layers will cause partial breakdown and discharge. All of these conditions will cause a decrease in dust removal efficiency.
The power supply of the electrostatic precipitator consists of a control box, a step-up transformer, and a rectifier. The voltage output from the power supply also has a significant impact on the dust removal efficiency. Therefore, the working voltage of the electrostatic precipitator should be maintained above 40-75kV, or even 100kV.
An electrostatic precipitator consists of two parts: one is the body system of the electrostatic precipitator; The other part is to provide a high-voltage DC power supply device and low-voltage automatic control system. The structure and principle of an electrostatic precipitator, the high-voltage power supply system supplies power to the step-up transformer, and the dust collection electrode of the precipitator is grounded. The low-voltage control system is used to control the temperature of the electromagnetic rapping hammer, ash discharge electrode, ash conveying electrode, and several components.
Characteristics of Electrostatic precipitator transformer
Compared with other dedusting equipment, an electrostatic precipitator consumes less energy and has high dedusting efficiency. It is suitable for removing 0.01-50% of flue gas μ M dust and can be used on the occasion of high flue gas temperature and high pressure. The practice shows that the more flue gas treated, the more economical the investment and operation cost of using an electrostatic precipitator.
