Dry-type three-phase transformers for industrial, EV charger and medical designs
Bel Fuse has expanded its range of three-phase dry-type transformers for medical, industrial, lighting, electric vehicle charging and green energy applications. Bel Fuse Signal Transformer Division's 3PH series dry-type transformers are adapted to various requirements and permanently configured for 3-phase DELTA input and WYE output. Electrostatic Shielding (ESS) between input/output windings attenuates line noise by preventing feedthrough of undesirable signals and serves as a safety feature in the event of a single fault.
Dry-type rigid transformer features rugged Class H (180°C), enhanced UL 1446 File E66312 insulation system, 4KV dielectric withstand rating, 130°C maximum self-heating temperature, 40°C maximum ambient temperature and low leakage current capability.
Target applications include MRI, radiation and other medical equipment, machine tools, welding machines, and wind, solar and lighting power conversion systems.
The rigid transformers operate at 50 or 60 Hz and offer power ranges from 2KVA to 35KVA, with a maximum input voltage of 500 VAC, a maximum load current of 69A RMS, and an efficiency greater than 93%. All 3PH models are UL listed to UL 60601-1 medical standard and can be constructed by UL File E151299.
